What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Specialist position at Insight Global?
Location: Clackamas, OR site mainly. Occasional support to The Dalles, OR site.
5 x a week on site, 8am-5pm
PR: $25-30HR
Duration: 12 months extensions (multi year, rolling contract)

Must Haves:
-5-10 years of experience with end user device support, PC Support, Networking Support and Application Support
-Previous experience working in a plant or warehouse environment
-Hands on experience with troubleshooting Networking equipment/network fiber issues, server rooms, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Apple Mac & IOS
-ServiceNow ticketing system experience
-Experience with the in tune imaging process
-Has a strong background working and understanding Zebra, Rico Printers, Thermal Printers, Label, and SAP printers
-Strong understanding of network infrastructure, mobile device support, video conferencing support, and application support
Day to Day
Our client is looking for a Site Technician to support their OR sites. This person will be desktop support for the entire plant including scientists and chemists and needs to have experience with thermal, zebra, and SAP printing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone in a plant environment. They will be working with the following technologies: (Microsoft office, teams, aspen tech - IP21 Process Explore, Citrix, Prowatch, Exact vision etc.) The reason this resource needs to have a strong background with printers is because within the plant, the printers are used daily for labeling/ printing items for their fragrance and flavor samples.
