Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Glendale, KY
Shift: 1st, M-F
Pay: $80k-$95k
Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking for an HRBP 2 for one of its clients in the Elizabethtown/Glendale Kentucky area for a full time permanent opportunity. Below are the key areas of responsibility.
- Cultivate and maintain Positive Employee Relations by addressing concerns, promoting employee well-being, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Use interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and resolve conflicts between union and non-union employees as well as management.
- Leverage political savvy to negotiate complex organizational dynamics and balance the interests of all parties.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and best practices while driving continuous improvement in employee relations.
- Support the organization with union-related campaigns with a strong focus on transparency, communication and engagement.
- Building strong relationships with operations partners, HR colleagues, and other business partners to jointly deliver strategic objectives and resolve issues
- Leading HR efforts related to investigations, governmental inquiries / charges, problem resolution, performance and absence management, complaints of unfair employment practices / discrimination, and disciplinary action
- Coaching, counseling, and educating salaried operations partners on HR policies, processes, programs and plans
- Leverages data and analytics to inform a point of view, and create actionable insights in support of strategic people priorities
- Managing personnel relations, and safety, health and environment activities as required
- Uses human-centered design & empathy to inform decisions and create products and services that improve the employee experience
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, projects, data analysis, and other HR functions as required
- Works collaboratively in a team environment
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related HR field or equivalent years’ experience
- 5 years of HR experience in a combination of the following areas: union environments, union campaigns, employee relations, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, data analysis, DEI, succession planning, business consulting, compensation and rewards, talent acquisition, and organizational development and design
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and challenging situations with discretion and professionalism
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other technology and tools that support collaboration
Plusses:
- Master’s degree or MBA with a concentration in HR or a related field
- Experience with delivering HR process improvement actions
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
