We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to oversee the HR operations for our client in Hartselle, AL.
This role requires strong HRIS skills, as well as experience in payroll, benefits auditing, and compliance.
The successful candidate will manage 4 coordinators directly, handle employee relations, benefits and compliance, and other responsibilities.
The compensation package includes $38/hr to $42/hr and benefit packages starting on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Job Description
- The HR Manager will oversee the HR operations for a company of about 700 employees, including a blue-collar workforce.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in an HR Manager or leadership role
- Background and understanding of HRIS systems (ideally UKG)
- Excel knowledge (pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience working in compliance (I9, benefit matching, etc.)
- Understanding of payroll
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience using UKG
- Background working with a blue-collar workforce
