JOB DESCRIPTION
The NOC Supervisor's main focus is the direct management and operation of the 24X7X365 Network Operations Center (NOC). As a Supervisor reporting directly to the Operations Officer effective management and communication skills are required. Complete accountability of NOC operations including manning, resource allocation and performance are essential. Must provide and maintain the necessary staffing and critical training with multiple levels of support and succession plans in all areas. Must also promote an in-house, highly positive/efficient work environment and handle all personnel matters with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. Core Responsibilities (Not Limited To) NOC personnel management, Scheduling and On-Call/escalations, Staff Emergency Notifications, Organization wide SLA performance. This position will convert to a full time salary of $70,000-$75,000.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years in a Supervisor/Personal Lead role
- 5 years as a NOC Technician or similar skill set
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios)
- Experience with tracking SLAs for priority tickets
- Willing to be on-call as 3rd escalation point
- 4-5 days a week onsite
