Position: Sr. Desktop Analyst, looking for someone that has fantastic communication skills.
Pay Rate: $35.00-40.00 per hour, depends on experience.
Duration: 6-month contract to hire- this will convert to a permanent employee
Location: Corpus Christi, TX, on site 5 days a week*
Schedule:
Breakdown below:
9 X 80 schedule-
Monday – Friday (8 hours a day)
Monday – Thursday (9 hours a day)
And then you have off every other Friday.
MUST-HAVE:
- Experience supporting Windows OS environments and setting up PC devices
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software related issues
- Workstation support (printers, physical desktops, scanners, phones, etc.)
- Experience providing direct (remote or in-person) technical support to customers
- Experience with using and supporting Microsoft 365 products and services, including MS Teams and SharePoint
PLUSSES:
- Experience installing and/or troubleshooting servers and network infrastructure (e.g., switches, wireless access points, firewalls, etc.)
- Experience using ServiceNow for tracking incidents and requests
- Experience using Microsoft SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Experience managing accounts in Active Directory and/or Azure AD
- Experience in process control and/or industrial environments.
- Experience in supporting an enterprise environment or industrial/plant environment*
Day-to-Day:
Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join our Endpoint Services Team in Corpus Christi, TX. In this role you will provide IT support to our Pine Bend Refinery and work in partnership with business stakeholders and IT groups across FHR and Koch Industries to deliver IT programs and services.
D2D Bullet Points:
- Provide local, hands-on technical support and training for plant employees
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues
- Set up and support workstations and peripheral devices (e.g., monitors, docking stations, etc.)
- Set up and support VoIP phones and conference room technologies
- Manage e-waste processes and maintain stock of commonly used IT hardware
- Occasionally install (rack/cable) servers and network switches
- Create and maintain processes, standards, KPIs, configurations, and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and suppliers
- Lead and participate in projects involving multiple capabilities, customers, and technology partners
- Have an opportunity to own internal products/services; contribute to vision and strategy development
- Work alongside multiple infrastructure teams (e.g., network, server, cyber, etc.), providing career path and development opportunities
- Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements for the role
Salary : $70,000 - $83,000
