Software Engineering Director/Delivery Lead

Job Description

This specialty insurance company is searching for a Director of Software Engineering / Delivery Lead to join their team. The key focus of this position is ensuring seamless delivery for the companies Digital Transformation initiatives impacting their underwriting platforms. The technical delivery will be performed by internal development teams and external implementation vendors, which this person will be responsible for coordinating. An ideal candidate has a background in .Net & Azure SQL, the Insurance industry, and enterprise wide transformation project delivery.

Skills and Requirements

• 10 years of experience with Software Engineering

Experience using .Net & Azure SQL on the backend tied to their proprietary systems : Unqork, ConceptOne (an Insurity product), & Coherent Spark

For example, Duck Creek / Guidewire / Majesco Implementations

Demonstrated ability to ensure technical quotes are being delivered on by external vendors
