Job Overview
Circulator RN
Large OR experience required; Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTIFICATIONS: BLS required. PALS and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Candidate must be able to scrub.
Shift days 0700-1530 Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekends(2 per month), on call (15 days per month), and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: First week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training (Epic test out available, if has used Epic in last six months)
SCRUBS: Required provided
Duties
- Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team during operations
- Monitor patients' vital signs
- Administer medications
- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and protocols
- Perform IV insertions
- Provide care for patients with ostomies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Experience in trauma medicine, hospital medicine, ER, family planning, health coaching, ostomy care, ophthalmology, and senior care is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $57.18 - $58.53 per hour
