Position: Manager, Marketing - Full Time/Exempt
Reports To: Assistant General Manager
Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing for Insignia Event Services and affiliated businesses. They will develop, implement, and cultivate a comprehensive marketing strategy for Insignia Event Services revenue generation initiatives, both short- and long-term, creating consistencies and continuities within marketing and branding efforts in line with the overall company and product strategy. This role will require the successful candidate to employ different marketing techniques and understand the different audiences that Insignia Event Services serves and how to engage them though traditional marketing efforts as well as social and digital focuses.
Primary Job Duties:
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print, and in-person
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement
- Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
- Create a long-term and short-term content publishing calendar and social media calendar
- Developing and implementing an email marketing strategy for each business vertical
- Creating campaigns to increase first party data acquisition while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy inline with national, state and local regulations
- Responsible for website optimization and updates for Insignia Event Services family of websites
- Creating and managing marketing, advertising and brand plans for Insignia Event Services and company initiatives and facilities (including but not limited to Sportsman Park and Heritage)
- Create and manage business development materials including proposals and templates for Insignia Event Services initiatives.
- Provide project management for Insignia-owned events with internal and external partners: including sales materials, ad campaigns, and promotional material
- Create and build relationships with current and potential marketing partners including but not limited to public relations outlets, media, social media influencers, partners, etc.
- Create and manage salesforce marketing cloud to help maximize lead generation and business development
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience
- Portfolio - Required
- Experience in events - preferred
- Marketing plan creation and implementation
- Graphic design experience – preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing our business and your professional development
- SEO Knowledge
- Project management - ability to understand the scope, create timelines, and deliver on time
- Ability to prioritize event requests and customers' needs using good judgment and critical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to create unique brand experiences, through the creative use of copy, branded items, event formats, etc.
- Ability to handle high volume workload in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
- Flexibility with work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously amid demanding deadlines, with both live events and brand content creation
