Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to office employees via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
Manage user accounts and access permissions.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure accurate documentation.
Handle the installation and updates of software applications.
Offer training and support to employees on IT-related topics.
Collaborate with the IT team to enhance IT policies and procedures.
Perform other IT administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with common office software and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to accommodate urgent issues.
It's expected to work one or two days on-site every week, as well as ad-hoc on-call support during the rest of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional).
Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
