Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee day-to-day HR functions, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal/state labor laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems for tracking time, benefits, and compliance.
- Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies that align with company values and industry regulations.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR matters and workplace concerns.
- Support employee development initiatives, including training programs, performance evaluations, and career progression plans.
- Champion a positive work culture that prioritizes employee well-being and engagement.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support the recruitment process from job postings to candidate selection.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate successfully into the organization.
- Manage employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing trends to improve retention.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including PTO, health insurance, and other company-sponsored offerings.
- Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and help navigate enrollment or claims issues.
- Travel to all office locations to provide in-person HR support, conduct training sessions, and ensure consistent HR practices across sites.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related travel.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar HR role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to different office locations as needed.
