Job Description : Senior Human Resource Generalist
Ready to take your HR expertise to the next level? Lookout Pest Control is on the hunt for a dynamic Sr. HR Generalist to lead and drive a variety of HR functions! You’ll be at the heart of our organization, managing everything from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, performance management, training, and compliance. As a trusted strategic partner, you’ll work closely with front line and operations leadership to ensure HR initiatives align with our organizational goals, all while navigating complex HR issues and advising on key employee matters. Problem-solving, process improvement, and strong software aptitude are essential in this role as you drive efficiency and effectiveness across HR operations. Overview of Responsibilities :
- Collaborate in establishing a best-in-class talent acquisition strategy including employee value proposition, application, screening, hiring, and onboarding
- Act as a backup to payroll
- Assist with intake of acquisitioned team members
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and open enrollment
- Assist in the administration of Leaves of Absence & Worker’s Compensation
- Provides counsel and support to managers / supervisors on issues of company / HR policy application, production operation Human Resource needs and provides HR services to team members
- Works with operations to resolve team member relations issues; Investigates, counsels and assists in resolving disputes
- Provide guidance on employment related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action and progressive discipline) to operations leadership
- Facilitate HR processes and operations programs to ensure ethical, fair and consistent approach
- Assist with the creation and implementation of effective training and development programs to meet SOP requirements, skill proficiency and development needs
- Engage with VP of HR and key stakeholders to advise on acquisition activities involving Human Resources matters
- Communicate policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the acquisition process
- Travel regionally, 1-2 times / month or as needed, to facilitate integration efforts
