Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT PMO Manager to lead and optimize our Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for ensuring IT projects align with business objectives, adhere to best practices, and deliver successful outcomes. The IT PMO Manager will drive governance, standardization, and process improvements across the IT portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- PMO Leadership: Establish and manage the IT PMO framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategy.
- Governance & Compliance: Implement project governance, risk management, and compliance policies.
- Project Portfolio Management: Oversee IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization, resource allocation, and execution efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Develop and enforce project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executives, business units, and IT teams to align project objectives and expectations.
- Reporting & Metrics: Provide dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports on project progress and risks.
- Budget & Resource Planning: Manage IT project budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support project managers and change management teams in project execution and risk mitigation.
- Experience: 7 years in IT project/program management, with 3 years in a leadership/PMO role.
- Nice to Have Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 required; SAFe, ITIL, or Agile certifications a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT project portfolios in enterprise environments.
