The Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) PMO Manager for Project Execution is charged with the overall responsibility of their assigned Project Director (PD) and Project Manager (PM) team and deliverables, including scope, cost, schedule, and quality. The manager will work as a liaison between the PD and PM team and our TDI partners, and a point of contact for PD and PM resources allocation. The position assumes responsibility for providing expertise, supporting and overseeing the use of established methodology, processes and project execution for the TDI Division. This dynamic leader must possess strong people leadership, customer service, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position reports to the TDI PMO Executive Director.
Leadership
Manages stakeholders.
Drives project management best practices, processes, methodologies and tools adoption.
Ensures quality of projects and deliverables assigned to project directors and project managers.
Communicates clear expectations on work deliverables, timelines, and challenges.
Oversees employee and contractor productivity and travel expenses as per division processes.
Defines metrics for measuring team performance with at least one related to productivity and one related to quality
Provides feedback to appropriate management on team member's contributions and performance.
Conduct 1 : 1 meetings with direct reports and provide annual performance evaluations
Coach and mentor direct reports and handle any disciplinary actions needed for direct reports
Manages the recruitment and hiring of qualified personnel as needed to meet the operational needs of the team.
Domain Expertise
Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in project management best practices and maintains knowledge as technology and best practices evolve.
Provides guidance, mentoring, and project execution strategy expertise to customers and team members.
Manages resources required to provide expertise to implement programs / projects, including capacity planning, demand management, resource utilization.
Exhibits expertise in supporting and overseeing methodology, process and project execution throughout the institution.
Participates in meetings and works with customers as appropriate to maintain working knowledge of institutional operations and needs.
Help resolve any project issues for the projects being managed by direct and indirect reports.
Manages the TDI PMO operations including financials.

Education Required : Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Education :
Master's Level Degree
Experience Required :
Ten years of experience leading multiple enterprise projects, to include to include two years supervisory / management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and / or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
Preferred Experience :
Experience in an academic healthcare setting.
Three years of experience managing 8 - 10 direct reports
Three years of experience managing direct reports assisted by a resources management process / tool
