We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office administrator to join our team at the Institute for Personal Growth. We're an outpatient mental health practice located in New Jersey with three offices in Freehold, Highland Park and Jersey City. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting team members and have excellent customer service skills. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities with a proactive approach.
Duties
- Answer phone calls.
- Review and verify patient information, insurance coverage, and billing data.
- Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and manage the medical collection process.
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
