Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Manage timely payments. Duties
- Process and record incoming payments accurately and timely.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers while following up on outstanding payments.
- Conduct credit analysis for new clients to assess risk and payment terms.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Perform account analysis to identify trends and provide insights for management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction accounting preferred.
- Strong math skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
