Logistics Coordinator
Pay Rate/Range: $28.80
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Onsite in New York, NY 10019
Duration: 5 months
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Operations:
- Support logistics for D2C, Tours, Retail, and other channels.
- Coordinate end-to-end processes for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with the operations management team to confirm tracking, packing lists, and proof of deliveries (PODs).
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to ensure accurate and efficient delivery to and from fulfillment centers.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create commercial invoices and international shipping documentation.
- Prepare and report on logistics metrics and KPIs.
- Use platforms like Monday.com to manage shipment scheduling and track updates.
Vendor and Supply Chain Management:
- Ensure vendor compliance and provide onboarding and training support.
- Purchase supplies and foster vendor relationships, negotiating bulk discounts to reduce costs.
- Forecast demand to vendors to minimize production slowdowns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with logistics platforms like Monday.com is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in consumer products, retail operations, or e-commerce logistics.
- Background in logistics, transportation, or in-house warehousing and distribution.
