JOB SUMMARY : Theoris is seeking a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer (contractor) to provide engineering support for end-user IT services. This role focuses on the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and MS Teams. This is intended to be a six month contract to handle responsibilities for someone on extended leave from the client. Must be local to Indianapolis and available to work about half the time onsite.
RESPONSIBILIES :
- Provide support, oversight, and tactical direction for the delivery of end-user IT services.
- Contribute to the overall end-user infrastructure architecture and operational governance model.
- Research, design, and implement standards-based, high-performing, and secure M365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
- Offer operational guidance and best practices for M365 platforms.
- Assess the current environment, identify deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Align system strategies and planning with business goals through capability modeling.
- Ensure standard configuration and change management processes are followed.
- Develop test and implementation plans, ensuring timely project execution.
- Provide routine status reports on the compliance and health of M365 services.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for service delivery processes and projects.
- Provide support for existing systems and projects across multiple environments.
- Review and validate requirements before implementation.
- Plan and coordinate system implementations, ensuring quality and usability.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendor partners to execute project goals.
- Monitor service levels and provide early warnings on potential risks.
- Develop and implement dashboards to monitor compliance, system health, and M365 key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain detailed process and control documentation.
