Job Title – Senior Accountant

Job Summary of the Senior Accountant position
Integr8staff seeks a skilled and proven Senior Accountant to lead a robust accounting team working for a nationally-recognized, award-winning law firm based in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant position
Works with the Director of Finance to process daily bank reconciliations, financial reporting.
Ensure day-to-day proper workflow; analyze, help develop and track key performance
indicators to ensure team accountability.
Oversees consistent records for trust receipts, disbursements, and reports.
Leads the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) clerks to ensure that daily accounting processes are efficient and operating smoothly.
Lead general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and related financial tasks
Conducts accounts payable cost data entry for client invoices, processing check requests, subsequent vendor payment and reconciliation.
Handles high volume vendor invoice tracking, processing, and follow-up with clients, vendors.
Familiarity with GAAP processes, including month-end close and reconciliation.
Supports firm initiatives and assists the Director of Finance with implementations to streamline all
accounting functions.
Requirements of the Senior Accountant position
At least 7 years of relevant accounting experience, in a law firm environment.
Minimum of 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, full cycle accounting; general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), month-end close, account reconciliation, taxation, year-end close, P&L, journal entries, income statement reporting, and disbursement experience is required.
Excellent computer skills required (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proficiency in Aderant (accounting software)
Strong sense of time management, organization, accuracy, and consistency is required.
Bachelor's degree or higher degree in related field preferred
Able to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities are required
Hands-on experience working with multiple teams and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
CPA license preferred but not required.
