Grant Writer
Compensation: $50,000/yr with possibility of bonus plan
Reporting to the Regional Manager, our Grant Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for INTAG Aquaponics' programs and initiatives. This role requires strong writing and research skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of grant funding sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
➢ Research: Identify and research potential grant funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
➢Proposal Writing: Develop compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate INTAG Aquaponics' mission, programs, and funding needs.
➢ Budget Development: Prepare detailed project budgets for grant proposals.
➢Submission and Reporting: Submit grant proposals and complete all required documentation. Prepare reports to grantors on project progress and outcomes.
➢Grant Management: Maintain records of grant applications and awards. Track grant deadlines and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
➢Prospect Research: Conduct research on potential funders to identify alignment with INTAG's mission and priorities.
Qualifications:
➢ Bachelor's degree or similar experience in English, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
➢Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding.
➢Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
➢Strong research and analytical skills.
➢Knowledge of grant funding sources and trends.
➢Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
➢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
➢Background check required
