Integrated Medical Systems, Inc - with ten warehouse & biomed facilities, is one of the nation’s largest privately owned medical supply distributors within the alternative site market.
IMS is looking for a biomedical technician who is capable of doing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of biomedical equipment. Should have at least three years experience in the electronic / medical device field with a technical background and the ability to perform repairs. Familiarity with reading wiring schematics and soldering / de-soldering skills are beneficial. Expected to learn troubleshooting skills and operation of a wide variety of biomedical equipment. You will be expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives.
Essential duties & Responsibilities :
- Checking-in / Staging medical devices.
- Data Documentation
- Cleaning / Sanitizing of medical devices
- Perform testing and Preventative Maintenance to Manufacturer’s specification.
- Perform basic diagnosis / repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.
- Assist in packing & shipping medical devices.
- Will identify training needs for self.
- Will keep a clean and organized workstation.
- Will assure the service area is clean and orderly, providing a safe environment for service personnel.
- Will ensure accurate database entry and reports.
- Basic electrical aptitude & soldering skills are beneficial.
