What does the Account Executive do?

The Account Executive will be a part of a team responsible for managing a high volume of projects from job initiation to final execution and must have experience supporting account teams and clients. The Account Executive must work well under pressure, display strong communication skills, and employ a keen attention to detail.

What's the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will manage a high volume of projects from initiation to final execution while supporting account teams and clients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary liaison between IMS internal teams and clients, fostering strong, credible relationships.
  • Field day-to-day inquiries from clients and internal teams, providing effective, customer-focused resolutions.
  • Deliver superior service to clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status and requirements.
  • Assist in setting up and managing program elements within IMS operating systems and web-based ordering sites.
  • Ensure timely project execution, adhering to timelines and budgets across all projects.
  • Maintain and prepare weekly project reports for review with clients and internal teams.
  • Proactively address client issues or concerns, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Track the status of items and readiness for program execution.
  • Provide back-up support for team members and assist with special assignments as needed.
  • Assist in the job reconciliation process and preparation for client invoicing.
  • Lead by example and foster a continuous improvement mindset with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Support other projects as assigned by the Account Director.

The skills and experience you have

Qualifications :

  • Associate or bachelor's degree, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of client management experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, or sourcing, with experience in CPG or beverage categories.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines.
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Account Management experience.

    Salary Range for this job is $50k to $58k - The salary range provided in this job posting is an estimate based on market data and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors, such as certain certifications that may be desired for this role.
