Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- At-Elbow Support: Provide on-site and virtual real-time assistance to physicians and advanced practice providers in navigating systems efficiently during their clinical workflows.
- Travel: Travel between metro clinics located in St. Paul, Phalen, Burnsville, and Maple Grove, with primary focus in St. Paul. Travel, on occasion, to greater Minnesota clinics.
- Training Development and Delivery: Develop and deliver tailored resources and training, both one-on-one and in group settings, to educate end-users on the functionalities and best practices of EHR platforms.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to create efficiencies for individual physicians and advanced practice providers to reduce redundancies and increase productivity.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders in a clear and concise method so they understand and can make informed decisions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address user issues and technical challenges related to systems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
- Documentation: Support comprehensive documentation of training materials, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate continuous learning and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of latest updates and developments in Oracle Health (Cerner) systems, workflows, and integrated technologies, actively participate in professional development activities, and contribute to the enhancement of training programs.
- Integration Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of technologies that integrate with the EHR system, such as medical devices, third-party applications, etc. Provide guidance and support to end-users on utilizing integrated technologies effectively within the EHR ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare technology training and support, with a focus on EHR systems.
- Experience working directly with physicians or advanced practice providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Health (Cerner) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse end-users, including physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinical workflows, with a proactive and customer-centric approach to support delivery.
- Collaborate with IS teams, clinical staff, EHR trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technologies into daily workflows and processes.
- Internalize customer feedback and provide innovative ideas to meet their future needs.
- Preferred experience working with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Preferred experience working in a clinical setting.
