We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer for a first shift position.
This role involves creating programs for coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accurate inspection of precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CMM programs using PC-DMIS software
- Review part designs, models, and engineering drawings to plan inspection processes
- Create in-process inspection sheets and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with GD&T requirements
- Support first article and in-process inspections, particularly in aerospace applications
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines
- Ability to work from both CAD models and 2D technical drawings
- At least 3 years of experience inspecting aerospace components preferred
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Prior machining experience (5 years preferred)
- Excellent multitasking skills
