We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage medical scheduling, including appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations.
- Provide front desk support by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
- Perform documentation review to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
- Assist with Medicare processes and coding as needed.
- Utilize EMR for patient management and record keeping.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient service and administrative operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical administrative support or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical scheduling systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Medicare processes and coding practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service in a busy environment.
- Bilingual abilities are an asset but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
