The Director of Pharmacy Business Services and 340B leads the strategic, financial, and operational management of INTEGRIS Health’s specialty pharmacy program and 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role focuses on optimizing revenue, enhancing patient access, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. The Director drives innovation and efficiency to support organizational goals while advancing the quality and affordability of specialty pharmacy services.
Job Responsibility:
1. Strategic and Financial Optimization
- Develop and execute strategies to grow specialty pharmacy revenue and maximize 340B program financial benefits.
- Identify opportunities to expand specialty pharmacy services through market analysis and strategic partnerships.
- Implement cost-control measures and enhance operational efficiencies to support financial goals.
- Leverage data analytics to forecast financial performance and optimize payer reimbursement.
- Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) of specialty pharmacy operations, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets.
2. Specialty Pharmacy Operations Leadership
- Direct the day-to-day operations of specialty pharmacy services, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
- Oversee workflows for dispensing specialty medications, maintaining high standards for safety and efficiency.
- Ensure timely delivery of medications and seamless integration of specialty pharmacy into patient care pathways.
- Develop policies and procedures to support optimal patient outcomes and operational reliability.
3. 340B Program Oversight
- Ensure compliance with all 340B regulations, including HRSA audits and internal review processes.
- Optimize 340B purchasing, inventory management, and contract pharmacy performance.
- Align 340B savings strategies with organizational initiatives to enhance medication affordability and access.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure accurate program reporting and readiness for audits.
4. Payer Reimbursement and Compliance Strategy
- Monitor and analyze payer reimbursement trends to support financial optimization for specialty medications.
- Work with revenue cycle teams to resolve payer issues, improve claims accuracy, and minimize denials.
- Advocate for policies and reimbursement terms that support specialty pharmacy and 340B program goals
Job Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field (MBA, MHA).
- 5 years of leadership experience in specialty pharmacy and/or 340B program management.
- Expertise in financial analysis, payer reimbursement, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of 340B program operations and specialty pharmacy best practices.
