Business Application Specialist
About the Role :
The client, a highly successful and financially stable privately-held company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Application Specialist to join their growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in the successful operation of their ERP systems, primarily Prophet 21 and JobBOSS. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Sales, Quality, and Purchasing, to ensure these systems effectively meet the company's evolving business needs. This position offers a hybrid work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work. No sponsorship is available for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, configure, and support Prophet 21 and JobBOSS ERP systems to optimize business processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using industry-leading tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, Phocas, and Grow.
- Manage and maintain EDI integrations, including Comparatio, to ensure seamless data exchange with partners.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as American Eagle, to ensure smooth system operations.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users, utilizing Jira for ticket management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement system enhancements.
- Support system upgrades, troubleshoot technical issues, and proactively maintain system stability.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
