Job Description
Seeking an experienced IT Applications Support Manager for a great direct hire opportunity. This position is 100% remote but requires living in North Carolina with occasional trips to Winston-Salem and Raleigh.
The position will involve managing a small team of developers and analysts as well as working with the business users and management to support key software applications. The main applications supported are related to default system software such as foreclosures, collections, and bankruptcies. Will need to manage staff, drive process improvement, manage outages, handle escalated issues, develop processes, and build information repository.
Responsibilities
- Manage small team of developers, analysts, and support specialist, including hiring, reviews, goals, strategy, work management and duties.
- Will act as a primary resource between the technical team and business teams
- Will determine resource allocation and work priorities for team members, hiring, performance reviews, project management
- Will assist team in addressing software enhancements and fixes, resolve technical issues, and implement process improvements
- Manage the performance of the system, optimization, stability, outages
- Will streamline processes, enhance system functionality, improve user experience, improve processes, automate capabilities.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Required Skills
- 7 years overall IT experience
- 2 years of experience in Manager role, managing teams of software developers, testers and/or analysts
- 3 years of experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with .Net software development or managing .Net developers
- Experience with agile or scrum environment
