Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving and putting away inventory, packing and shipping orders according to customer specifications, loading boxes into trucks for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, scanning and labeling inventory items, organizing and storing inventory in a safe and efficient manner, troubleshooting problems, operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, keeping the warehouse clean and organized, following all safety procedures, and reporting any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment, be able to read, write, and speak English, lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts up to 60 pounds, use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, go up and down stairs (where applicable), work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable), have strong organizational and time management skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and follow instructions and work safely.
Work Environment
You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. The position will be located in Phillipsburg, NJ, and the work hours will be from 7am to 5pm Sunday to Wednesday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Wednesday to Saturday.
