MINIMUM 1-2 YEARS OF PICKER EXPERIENCE.
Intela Staffing is looking to fill a Picker role for a Luxury Drains manufacturer in the city of Huntington Beach, CA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:15pm – 11:00pm.
Saturday's as needed
Responsibilities:
- Following instructions and locating parts on Pick Tickets.
- Notifying team leader of quality variances and parts shortages.
- Efficiently picking parts for finishing or final assembly and ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained.
- Carrying or transporting orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment, such as push carts.
- Reading and counting accurately, performing simple math, and writing legibly.
- Scanning tickets into the ERP computer system.
- Filling in pick locations from overstock areas.
Qualifications:
- Must pass background check.
- Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems.
- Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.
Experience as a Production Worker, Machine Operator, Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Specialist, Material Coordinator, Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a PLUS**
