Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for performing, receiving, packaging, shipping, and material handling functions. Has the organizational freedom and authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to the product, process and quality system.
Key Responsibilities:
Material handling of raw material, work in process and finished product. Including the movement and storage of material
Processing of customer orders including; pulling and accumulation of finish product, literature and packaging/shipping materials
Stamps, types, or writes addresses on packaged materials
Requisitions and stores materials to maintain stock
Operates UPS shipping system
Review products to ensure accuracy of shipment
Works at different assembly stations as production needs require
May be required to perform other manufacturing duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of work experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
