Breakdown Support Specialist

Join one of the finest trucking company's around! Opportunity for highly motivated individuals seeking to be a part of a well-establish team. The Breakdown Support Specialist will be receiving inbound phone calls while being the liaison to coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance related issues between drivers, vendors and operations.

Hours for the Breakdown Support Specialist are 5:30pm to 4am Monday through Friday.

Pay Range for the Breakdown Support Specialist is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on background and qualifications.

Essential Functions for the Essential Functions for the Breakdown Support Specialist include:

• Receive and address incoming calls and diagnose mechanical issues
• Review and address email messages and take appropriate actions
• Working in a fast paced environment to help drivers with breakdown situations
• Create repair orders
• Communicate breakdowns, accidents, and incidents promptly to fellow coordinators, operations, and safety
• Maintain constant and concise communication with appropriate groups, including vendors, drivers and operations, regarding status of repair decisions and related issues

Minimum Required Qualifications for the Breakdown Support Specialist Include:

• Able to communication in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written
• Must have good problem solving skills and able to make decisions
• Must be customer service oriented as well as team-oriented
• Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous call center, service writer, or mechanical experience (preferred)
• Experience in the transportation industry (preferred but not required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
