Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician

InterAction24 is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team and work at a leading food distribution facility in Tracy, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment to ensure smooth operations. This position requires hands-on technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced, cold environment.

Shift: Thurs-Mon 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing repairs.
• Ensure work orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, and test equipment.
• Conduct inspections, routine adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
• Support process improvement (PI) projects and participate on safety teams.
• Use hand tools, multimeters, and other measurement instruments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 49 lbs for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• This role involves working in a cold environment typical of food distribution facilities. Appropriate clothing is required.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
