Job Description
The Senior Data Center Operations Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that all activities within our data center and access centers adhere to established procedures and industry standards.
This position involves collaborating with Data Center Engineers, providing support and serving as an escalation point when needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date access control lists
- Verifying access reports daily to ensure compliance
- Maintaining documentation related to data center operations procedures
Requirements:
- Supervisory experience with a team of Data Center Engineers
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification as a Data Center Technician
- Accreditation as a PHP Platform Specialist
- Installation and maintenance of Systimax systems
- Membership in Corning's Network Planning and Implementation group
Work Environment:
This role requires on-site presence in our Mahwah, New Jersey data center.
Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
