Your day to day
- Build and lead a team of procurement Owner and Hotel Engagement managers focused on business development and account management
- Create and implement a basic account management structure to retain existing program participants
- Serve as a key business partner to internal IHG teams, including Procurement, Hotel Openings and Renovations, and Franchise Operations teams
- Develop and execute growth strategies to maximize procurement program adoption and enhance value for owners and hotels
- Collaborate with the Owner and Hotel Engagement Strategy and Planning team to develop presentations, communications, and materials to promote procurement initiatives and drive program awareness.
- Create data-driven insights based on cost comparisons and market trends to demonstrate program value to owners.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining processes, enhancing team capabilities, and implementing best practices for procurement engagement.
What we need from you
- Proven leadership experience developing and managing teams of business development professionals.
- Extensive business development, sales, and client service expertise, preferably within procurement, hospitality, or franchising.
- Strong executive communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strategic portfolio management experience, with a focus on program adoption and account management
- High attention to detail and ability to drive operational excellence.
- Demonstrated success in building and optimizing functions, processes, and organizations within a complex corporate environment.
Location – Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
Travel - 25-50% required
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $150,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
