Storeroom Attendant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Attendant to join our team at a customer location in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting inventory while maintaining a clean and professional workspace.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and store incoming products and equipment, checking for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and store items in an organized manner, optimizing storeroom space.
• Issue products, tools, and equipment to employees, maintaining accurate records.
• Enter and maintain stock data in computerized systems; track and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reports, ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear, reporting issues to supervisors.
• Deliver tools or equipment to work locations and replenish vending machines as needed.
• Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment or supplies.
• Assist with repairs and servicing of tools as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 months of relevant experience in warehousing or storeroom roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience is a plus.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including MS Office and other inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand, kneel, bend, and perform other physical tasks.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• May require protective gear (shoes, gloves, etc.) and warehouse equipment certifications.
• Overtime may be required with short notice.
• Must be able to handle physical tasks, including standing, kneeling, and lifting.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
