Payroll Clerk

Interhealth is looking for a full-time payroll clerk. We are a management company that operates 10 nursing facilities in Oklahoma. Our office is located in Rogers, Arkansas and we are looking to hire immediately. We have a casual dress atmosphere and typically work between 8 am – 5 pm.

Sage Accounting and Excel experience preferred, medical/long term care experience or knowledge is a plus, clerical experience and ability to multitask is a must. As well as friendly disposition and must have he ability to maintain confidentiality on all payroll matters.

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Review and verify accuracy of time data for 10 entities or roughly 700 employees.
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepare and provide payroll reports to department supervisors and company managers for review.
• Address employee pay-related concerns. (You will have manager assistance and approval for this)
• Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
• Enter payroll adjustments for semi-monthly pay to include payroll deductions, bonuses, paid time off, garnishments, etc.
• Print and disburse payroll checks to business office managers.
• Assist in company provided benefits enrollments and deductions.
• Coordinate with broker and input into insurance software.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist and report to COO and Payroll Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
