What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Interim HealthCare Home Health and Hospice?
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our Hospice team. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing our hospice services to potential referral sources and increasing hospice referral volumes and market share within your designated service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain contacts and relationships with referral sources for hospice clients, including Assisted Living Facilities, physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community resources, and other appropriate community resources
- Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective clients
- Implement account development strategies to sell and secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payer organizations
- Use customer relationship management system to track and report on activity as well as monitor account development status and plan next steps; reviews reports and activity with supervisor on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Prior medical, hospice, or home care sales experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience
- Two to three (2-3) years of successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services are preferred
