As a Resident Aide, your role will involve:
- Caring for patients' personal hygiene and comfort needs in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living centers, rehabilitation hospitals, and hospitals
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals like physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other aides to deliver exceptional patient care
- Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and monitoring nutritional intake
- Aiding with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Monitoring vital signs, tracking intake/output, and documenting any changes
- Notifying supervisors of issues requiring adjustments in care, medication, or equipment
The Following Are Essential Requirements for Resident Aides:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course (please provide professional references to verify experience or certificate of completion)
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, effective communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
