As a Resident Aide, You Will:
- Care for patients' personal hygiene needs in facilities like nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver high-quality patient care
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
- Help with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
- Monitor vitals, track intake/output, and document any changes
- Notify supervisors of issues requiring care adjustments, medication changes or equipment modifications
Requirements for Resident Aides:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of adult caregiving experience or completion of CNA course (provide professional references or certificate)
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
