**Job Title:** Certified Trained Medication Aide
About the Role:
Certified Trained Medication Aides play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of seniors in assisted living and memory care facilities. As a TMA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
- Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of at least 48 hours
- CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
- 6 months of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
- 6 months of experience as a TMA
- High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass criminal background checks
- Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written form
- Charting in electronic medical records system
