Nursing Professionals for Geriatric Care

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Community Staffing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals in assisted living and memory care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, medication management, and overall health status monitoring for residents.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)/Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) on shifts.
• Provide health education to residents and their families on disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care.

Requirements:

• RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
• Previous experience in geriatric nursing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A compassionate approach to working with senior residents.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
