At Interim HealthCare, we believe in the importance of home-based care for patients who require physical therapy services.
As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide personalized care to patients in their own homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one physical therapy to patients who require assistance due to illness or injury.
- Working collaboratively as part of a home health team focused on the patient's plan of care and goals.
- Assisting the treating Physical Therapist in documenting exercises in the patient's chart and printing out exercises for home use as directed.
- Educating the patient and their family on exercises under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and other caregivers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in Colorado.
- Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy assistant experience, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
- Pass a background check and drug test (required).
