We are looking for an administrative professional candidate who demonstrates compassionate patient care, knowledgeable in healthcare office procedures, and experience in administrative duties.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Administrative Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Check patients out after their visit and print any orders and care instruction materials entered by the provider. Schedule follow up appointments as needed and collect copay.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule patients’ appointments.
- Relay necessary messages to staff.
- Verify necessary information and record it in the medical record.
- Maintain and update current information on physicians and technologist schedules.
- Answer multi-line telephone calls, screen calls, record messages and provide information/answers regarding patient appointments and testing.
- Type correspondence as directed, sort and deliver mail, medical records and other correspondence.
- Obtain medical records from other physicians’ offices as requested by the providers.
- Scan and index documents into the appropriate medical record daily.
- Assist with Prior authorizations and insurance referrals as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a medical office with administrative/clerical duties.
- Strong computer based communication skills and basic medical terminology knowledge.
- Proficient in using Gmail, Groups, Calendar and other Google based applications.
- Strong multitasker and able to adapt between the positions as needed.
- Reliable and dependable with little or no supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply constructive criticism for improvement.
- Electronic Medical Record experience with AthenaNet preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
