Position: Engine Technician
Reporting to: Engine Shop Lead
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Job Purpose
The Engine Technician is responsible for performing maintenance Rolls Royce / Alison T56-9 turboprop aircraft engines, gas turbine compressors and air turbine motors. The person filling this position should be an experienced aircraft engine technician with experience working on large turboprop engine assemblies, components, and performing related line maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, non-routine, and preventative maintenance on T56 turboprop engine assemblies.
- Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, remove, install, teardown, and buildup T56 engine assemblies.
- Perform maintenance on engines that are installed on aircraft as well as engines stored in a back-shop environment.
- Clean, inspect, assess, and report on condition of engines, engine parts, and accessories.
- Assemble engine components into complete engine assemblies.
- Follow all technical data and complete paperwork describing maintenance performed.
- Perform work in a well-organized manner.
- Keep the shop in order, parts organized / labeled and tagged throughout the process.
- Read and understand USAF T56 publications, NAVAIR publications, and OEM technical data.
- Perform engine maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturers maintenance manuals and company policy.
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Engine Shop Lead
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining T56-series turboprop engines.
- FAA A&P license preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently required.
- Basic computer skills required

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
