Role Description
A premier wealth and asset management firm is seeking a Client Accounting Analyst to join its team in Seattle. This role is key in supporting high-net-worth clients by handling daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping. The Client Accounting Analyst will collaborate with Client Accountants to ensure smooth financial operations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Manage accounts payable for assigned client entities, including vendor setup and maintenance.
- Process invoices accurately and promptly while following department procedures.
- Obtain necessary approvals from clients and representatives for invoices, bills, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor client cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for payments.
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and assist in preparing annual 1099 forms.
- Manage client-specific billing email accounts and handle office mail distribution.
Accounts Receivable
- Reconcile billing amounts and prepare invoices for client customers.
- Track and record incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Research and allocate deposited checks to the correct client entity accounts.
- Bookkeeping & Financial Reconciliation
- Reconcile financial data across general ledgers, bank statements, and credit card accounts.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
- Meet processing and reporting deadlines while responding to information requests and supporting special client projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, with a preference for high-volume accounts payable processing.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, journal entries, and general ledger accounts.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to self-review and ensure accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client, vendor, and team interactions.
- Ability to manage deadlines independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
