Job Description
At Interpath Laboratory, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, reliable lab services that promote the health and well-being of our communities. We are currently seeking a Night Shift Specimen Processing Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 20 staff members and coordinate pre-analytic operations in partnership with the Pre-Analytics Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Staff Supervision
- Determine optimal FTEs within the division, recommending changes to the Pre-Analytical Manager
- Manages performance and provides coaching for leader development and success
- Manage the monthly schedule for the division
- Assist in the mentorship and development of personnel in the division
- Manage and approve timecards for personnel within the division
- Maintain compliance with all corporate policies, protocols and procedures
- Maintain Interpath’s corporate culture and commitment to quality
- Understands and adhere HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Oversee preparation for inspections and accreditation processes within the division
- Where assigned, oversee all process improvement projects in the division
- Work with leads to ensure initial, 6-month and annual training and competency is completed and documented

Pay: Starts at $52,000/Salary
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:30pm-8:00am (work begins Monday night at 11:30pm and ends Saturday morning at 8:00am)
Location: 2460 SW Perkins Ave.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical laboratory experience
- Leadersip/supervisory experience preferred but not required

General Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform office tasks that involve sitting, reaching, and bending
- Comfortable working at laboratory benches, including standing and manual dexterity tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed
OSHA Category: This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
