What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Process Technician position at Interstate Connecting Components (ICC)?
We are seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team in the ICC VAD production area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assembly and packaging operations to produce cable connectors and related accessories efficiently and timely.
The Production Associate will assemble, mark, kit, and package specified components using detailed instructions, appropriate methods, tools, and fixtures. They will also monitor process for defects, isolate non-conforming material, and notify supervisor of "out of specification" conditions promptly.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will work at different workstations based on production needs or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue. They will also assist with on-the-job training of new associates or contract laborers and maintain lot and batch integrity throughout the assembly process.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
