Interstate Wire Co. is looking for a driven, inside sales professional to support the outside sales team! Our team is growing, and this Inside Sales position will devise and deliver sales activity plans including territory and strategic planning and internal and external customer engagement. Ideal candidate will be detail orientated, display a “customer first” mentality, and effectively work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure the needs and expectations of the customer are met. The position will report to the Inside Sales Manager to ensure alignment with objectives and customer care. This position is in office, located in Rockwall, TX.
WHAT we need you to do.
- Work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strategically quote to meet and exceed sales targets by maximizing market share and profits
- Drive client engagement and manage customer relations
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accurate sales and pipeline data
- Overseeing customer account management, including quoting, daily support of the order entry process, set up new customer accounts, sending out customer price sheets, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to the adapt to ever changing market expectations and objectives
- Work closely with Outside Sales Territory Account Managers to ensure customer requirements and expectations are clearly defined, understood and achieved
- Monitor sales trends and develop corresponding action plans/recommendations to leadership
- Have a desire to learn about our products and product application, seeking out opportunities to learn
- Occasionally attend trade shows and network as needed to promote our products and stay up-to-date with competitive trends
- Perform needs assessment to identify and leverage differentiation and opportunities to uncover potential business prospects
- Build relationships with relevant industry organizations i.e. suppliers, customers, manufactures of complimentary products
- Process customer material returns to ensure proper credit/exchange is handled as well as root cause analysis with corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Forecasting: Assist Sales in gathering/updating/maintaining forecast from customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT you need to possess.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A self-motivated, adaptable go-getter attitude
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Logistics coordination knowledge preferred
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus!
