Plant Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the facility, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards in the food industry.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that comply with food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage inventory, production schedules, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Lead, train, and motivate teams to meet performance goals and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and supply chain, to address challenges and meet customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience in the food industry may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the food production or manufacturing sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, such as HACCP, FDA, or USDA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to foster teamwork and drive operational success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
