What We're Looking for:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, combined with 8 years of hands-on proven successful accounting or finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or growth-driven for-profit environment.

Expert proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive decisions and outcomes.

Experience in contract negotiation, compliance, and managing financial audits.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Familiarity with Google Suite and a willingness to adopt new technology.
What You'll be Doing:
Accounting & Financial Management:

Lead all accounting functions, including budgeting, cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial reporting.

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase orders, and employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Spearhead the annual financial statement audit and collaborate with external auditors.

Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Continuously improve internal financial processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Compliance & Regulatory:

Manage TTB, tax, and other state regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to federal and state laws.

Oversee corporate tax filings, identifying opportunities to leverage favorable tax codes.

Take advantage of state and federal rebate programs and maxime cost savings.
Business Intelligence & Data Management:

Oversee the integration and management of our accounting and production data tracking software to ensure visibility of spending across the organization.

Lead cost/margin analysis and create forecasting models for pricing and product mix changes.

Partner with IT to streamline functions, automate workflows, and enhance interdepartmental data flow.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Serve as the financial expert, advising department heads and senior management on financial strategies and decision-making.

Evaluate financial risks and opportunities across various business functions, including procurement, insurance, and real estate.

Provide insights to leadership on key metrics, financial health, and operational efficiency.

Lead the company’s vehicle and energy strategies, aligning with sustainability goals.
Leadership & Team Development:

This job comes with a competitive salary of $160,000-185,000 and full benefits package.
